The Caregiver Resource Center

Today’s issues surrounding the needs of older adults are complicated and the role of a caregiver can be an all consuming one.  Just as the person being cared for depends on the caregiver, the caregiver depends on others. At the Caregiver Resource Center, we are here to help.

The Caregiver Resource Center provides education, support, and training for you as you provide care for your loved one. You can use these services free-of-charge anytime you have a question pertaining to any caregiver issue.

Our trained staff will identify your needs and provide the resources and/or materials that will help you. We have computer access available for visitors to our center who would like to explore additional options through IRIS, our database that can access local and regional agencies and programs. Internet access is also available as a part of the Center’s resources.

We also have a wonderful library of books and videos for lending and a wide range of caregiver education materials for you to keep. You can stop in and browse, call for an appointment or have them mailed to you. To view the complete list of books and videos available, click on HERE

What to Expect:

Your confidential phone call will be answered by a staff member who is specially trained in the field of aging. We are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and evenings by appointment.  If you would like our assistance for your care giving concern we will ask a few questions about you and gather needed information. We will be happy to help you assess your options and determine your needs. We will follow up to ensure your problem has been resolved.
