Food Service Worker – Maintenance (Kalamazoo and Battle Creek)

This is  a part-time food service worker - maintenance position to work in our kitchen at Senior Services, Inc.  The position duties are, but not limited to, dish washing, general cleaning of all kitchen areas, sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors, cleaning employee break room and restrooms, ovens, equipment and trash collection.  Candidate must be energetic, dependable and hard working.  You must be willing Monday through Friday from 9:30-4:30 pm.

Meals on Wheels Driver  (Battle Creek)

We are looking to fill a Meals on Wheels Driver (part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week) position. This position will provide delivery services to customers residing in Battle Creek and the surrounding area for the Meals on Wheels program in Calhoun County. 

 Assistant Lead Cook (Battle Creek)

We are seeking to fill a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) Assistant Lead Cook position for our Battle Creek location. The purpose of this position is to assist the Lead Cook in producing meals on forecast numbers, to work with menu guide insuring all weekend frozen meals are completed one (1) week in advance. You will package, distribute and serve safe, appealing meals for senior nutrition program and catered clients. Work with cold production in determining what proteins are needed for cold production and to cook and package them in advance. Assists in monitoring food quality and food handling practices. Controls production and distribution of food for all meals. Train and mold staff by bringing a higher level of culinary skills to kitchen.
