Meals on Wheels

Our Meals on Wheels program has been providing nutritious meals to older adults since 1960. Meals on Wheels helps older adults remain independent in their homes by preparing home style meals in the state of the art kitchen located at Senior Services.

Meals on Wheels can provide up to two meals per day, seven days a week. Our meals are low in salt, fat, and sugar. 

To qualify for the Meals on Wheels program the client must be 60 years or older, homebound, and able to be home when the meals are delivered.  We provide home delivery to clients living in Kalamazoo County, Michigan.

Meals are delivered Monday thru Friday between 11:00 and 1:00
A hot meal Monday thru Friday
A cold supper sack can be delivered for week day evening meals
We can also deliver frozen meals for weekends
Liquid meal supplements are also available with a doctors prescription

NEW - And now we offer a new OPTIONS Menu. Those receiving our Home Delivered Meals may choose to participate in this Person Centered Program and select the meals of their liking and have them delivered on a weekly basis. The entree for each meal is delivered frozen along with refrigerated breads, milk, fruit, etc.  These meals are easily rewarmed in either a regular oven or microwave. 

With this new option you select what you want to eat and when you want to eat it. For our customers who like the daily reassurance visit, you can ask to receive a daily safety call each Monday through Friday from on of our friendly Meals On Wheels staff.  Click HERE to look at the OPTIONS Menu.
