Transportation

Senior Services promotes the independence and well-being of older adults by offering limited transportation.

Volunteers 4 Seniors provides rides to non-emergency medical appointments and shopping assistance on a case by case basis.  Service is for people age 55 and better who live in and need to travel in Kalamazoo County. Must be able to walk without assistance from volunteer (canes and walkers welcome) and be able to get in and out of vehicle without assistance.  We do not transport or handle wheelchairs.  Please provide 10 calendar days advance notice for ride and shopping requests.  There is no fee, however donations are appreciated.  To request assistance call 269-382-0515.

Senior Services Home Care offers rides for various appointments, errands, and activities on a fee for service basis.  To inquire on fee structure, please call us at 269-382-0515 or email us mvlietstra@seniorservices1.org
